What happens if someone gets injured on my property?
All guests will complete a liability waiver as part of the booking process.
What if a guest damages my property?
As part of the onboarding process, you will set a security deposit amount.
Hosts should contact their homeowner’s insurance provider to add short term rental insurance to your policy or you can contact Proper Insurance for competitive rates.
How do I get paid?
Hosts receive rental revenue through Stripe or WooCommerce within 48 hours of rental.
What if a guest cancels or I need to cancel an experience at my property?
Hosts communicate their individual cancellation policy with guests as part of onboarding process and are encouraged to work with guests to pursue rebooking.
What if I have an issue that’s not covered by the host agreement?
GetOut fosters strong relationships with our hosts to create a positive experience for all parties. GetOut will respond to host inquiries within 24 hours.

How do I book an experience?
Our site will guide you through choosing dates and times to secure your reservation. Search for experiences by by category of activity or location.
How can I make sure my transaction is secure?
All transactions are secured by Stripe so that you can feel confident that your information is secure.
How will I access the property for my experience?
You will receive a message from the host before your scheduled time with directions and any instructions you need for safe access to the property.
What if I need to cancel my experience?
Check the property’s cancellation policy before booking.
Work with the host if you need to cancel or make changes outside of the cancellation policy window using confirmation email.
Contact GetOut at [email protected] if you don’t receive a response within 7 days of the cancellation.
What happens if weather (rain, snow, etc) occurs during a scheduled experience?
Weather cancellations due to severe weather or natural disasters are fully refundable. Contact GetOut for weather related refunds.
